Not a soo sugary affair

Ze Maria’s tactical Gor Mahia once more showed Sony Sugar why they are indeed worthy to be called champions when they edged them out 2-1 at the Moi Kisumu stadium.

Ernest Wendo opened the scoring through a superb screemer at the 22nd minute, before Sony Sugar’s equalled things up in 36th after having a sweet taste of the ball past Gor Mahia’s keeper Boniface Oluoch before sloting in easily.

Things were all leveled up as the second half but not for long as Meddie Kagere once more put Gor Mahia ahead in 46th minute.

Gor Mahia are now on top of the kpl standings with 12 points as Sony lie 8th with 7 points, in the othe match of the day at Tusker could only manage a draw against Ulinzi Stars at the Afraha Stadium.
